LaOS laser is a project to develop a good alternative open source driver card with software/firmware for existing laser machines. The project is documented on http://www.laoslaser.org
During FabFuse there will be two LaOS events:
1. Presentation of the project. Duration: about 30 minutes. In this presentation, Jaap Vermaas and Peter Brier will show the current state of the project.
2. Workshop: this is more hands-on: we will bring a few LaOS lasers. You can build and test your own driver board if you like (contact us for materials before FabFuse). Duration of the workshop: at least 1 hour, maybe 3-4 hours for people building and testing their own LaOS board.
